Instructions

In celebration of their annual BTS Festa, the internationally acclaimed music group BTS has announced the upcoming release of two new literary works: "BTS Lyrics Inside" and "BTS Recipe Book." These publications, developed through a partnership involving Hachette Book Group’s Running Press, CAKE Corp, and BigHit Music, aim to offer fans a deeper insight into the septet's artistic journey and cultural heritage. This initiative signifies an exciting expansion of the group's creative endeavors beyond music, providing a fresh perspective for their dedicated global fanbase, ARMY.

The first title, "BTS Lyrics Inside," scheduled for release on September 15, delves into the intricate songwriting processes of RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook. The book will deconstruct lyrics from albums such as "Proof" and "Most Beautiful Moments in Life," revealing the profound messages embedded within their musical narratives. Iconic tracks like "Boy With Luv," featuring Halsey, along with "Life Goes On," "Magic Shop," "Spring Day," "Yet to Come," and "We Are Bulletproof : the Eternal," are among those that will be explored. To cater to their diverse audience, lyrics will be presented in their original language accompanied by English translations, allowing ARMY members worldwide to engage with the material on a more analytical and personal level.

Simultaneously, the "BTS Recipe Book" promises a culinary journey inspired by the group's various album eras. This unique cookbook will feature a collection of flavorful Korean dishes, including scorched rice crackers, carp bread, sugar-filled griddlecakes, Korean fried chicken, simmered rice cakes, ginseng chicken soup, and braised beef ribs. The book goes beyond traditional recipes, offering an interactive experience with digital codes that grant access to exclusive videos. These videos will provide cooking tips and insightful food commentary from the BTS members, some of whom previously showcased their culinary skills in series like "RUN BTS!," "Bon Voyage," and "In the Soop."

Shannon Fabricant, Vice President, Publisher of Running Press, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting BTS's global influence and the opportunity to deliver unique perspectives on the band's music and experiences. Seok Kyo Jeong, Vice President at CAKE, emphasized the mission to connect fans with their favorite artists by bridging linguistic and cultural divides, extending HYBE EDU's educational ethos through these publications. The partnership is set to continue with additional releases until 2027, promising a sustained literary engagement for BTS and their followers.

This venture into publishing represents a thoughtful expansion of BTS's engagement with their audience, allowing fans to explore the depth of their lyrical artistry and connect with their cultural roots through the shared experience of food. These new offerings further cement BTS's status not just as musical icons but as cultural ambassadors, continually finding innovative ways to interact with and inspire their global community.
